Netwton notation point to a variable

why it is not possible to work in Mathcad (Prime 2.0) with the Newton Noation?
As an engineer, I often need a point over a letter. Typically, the mass flow is indicated by a dot above the m and the flow rate to a point on the V.
Are there not many people who need such a thing?
Does anyone know a viable workaround?

Hallo Herbert,

In MathCad Prime wird das Ableitungszeichen verwendet (f') (findet man unter "Operatoren"- "Analysis" .

Der "Punkt" existiert als soches nicht für die zeitliche Ableitung.

Hoffe das hilft Dir weiter.

Hallo Volker,

ich arbeite viel mit Massen-, Volumen- bzw. Wärmeströmen und da wäre der Punkt über dem Buchstaben schon hilfreich.

Das geht mir genauso; ich habe mich inzwischen an die andere Notation gewöhnt.

Das wäre beim nächsten Update schon super wenn der Punkt eingeführt wird.
