Plotting Pursuit Curves

I took pursuit curves from 2 different but similar sources and tried to plot them. They come out the same but not as expected. They don't look like pursuit curves.

The worksheet called PursuitCurvesODE came from Differential Equations De-Mystified by Stephen Krantz.

The worksheet called PursuitCurvesDED is from Ordinary differential equations and applications- Werner S. Weiglhofer, Kenneth A. Lindsay.

I'd like some advice as to where I'm going wrong with the plotting or the equations.
