Scroll Speed

Hello,

When I box select a bunch of equations, and I put the mouse in the grey area at the bottom, it just zips to the end of the file. After a few choice cusses, I put the mouse on the grey area on the top, and the darn thing zips to the top of the file. Is there any way to slow down the scroll? I tried putting the mouse very close to the grey zone boundaries, but that does not help.
