Question

Setting Parameters for a function

Im new to mathcad and am embarrassed I can't figure this out on my own.  I have a function, f(x)=A*sin(theta) that gives me an answer, however I need to set the function equal to zero after 130degrees. On paper it looks like:

f(x)=A*sin(theta) if theta <= 130 degrees

       0 if theta > 130 degrees

Any help or even a link to a another post (I have looked and can't find one though) would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

Presumably you mean f(theta) not f(x).  Here are three possibilities:

... and here another one, which have a sort of answer for symbolic derivative or integral. Phi function is with F + Ctrl G.

Best regards.

Alvaro.
