Trying to use Solve for given variable in an equation but doing something wrong

I think you made a mistake, it seems like you have Iw (I-omega) as a single variable, If you type them separately with a multiplication in between your solve block might work.

Do you HAVE to use a solve block, or do you just want to solve. 'cause this one is very easy.

No, do not have to use solve block but just trying them out.

Ok.

Then, did you separate the I from the omega, and did that solve your problem?
