Suddenly no color printing using Mathcad Prime 10

HP computer and printer are working properly with other applications.

When I try to print a Prime 10 workshheet with colored plot traces, all are Black.

Used HP Smartfriend service and we found the problem only happens with the installed Prime 10.

Seems that I have done something stupid recently: I am 89.

When I try to print, my HP Elite 7200 printer does does not show a color option.

Could there be Adobe problems? Do I need to re-install Prime 10?

Hi John,

Have several printers on my system and when printing from Prime get the following dialog box irrespective of what printer is selected.

 

Pick the color option.

Pick the let app change printing preferences.

    Thank you for your prompt response.
    This 89-year-old Londoner decided to get a new Mathcad colored copy of a recently submitted USPTO submission.
    I have used Mathcad since version 4 in the 1980's and have not had this problem before.
    I have already tried your fix with no luck. I use Prime10 on Win11 on my laptop.
    I use one printer, wirelessly connected to this laptop and my older Win10 HP desktop. Win10 pc works fine!
    Just made sure that my Acrobat is working.

    Can you print to PDF in colour and then print the PDF?

    Yes. It is really not a terrible problem, just an odd-ball, colour or color, effect that I found when I tried to print a single page of a submitted 30 page USPTO worksheet having Red and Black traces in a single plot, using Prime 10.0.0 and 10.0.1.0.
    Kalash could not reproduce the effect on his pc, but it still happens on mine.
    He and HP SmartFriend have had access to my laptop and there are no system or program problems. It was interesting. Just became 89 and my first Mathcad 4 was on a 5.25inch floppy disk. C'est la vie!

    Not solved. Kalash could not reproduce the action on his machine.
    I gave him access to my machine and he found no errors.
    HP Smart Friend had two visits and found no errors.

    It is more an irritation than a problem. PDF and RTF files are ok.
    Started with Mathcad 4 on a floppy disc.
    I am an 89-year-old, long naturalized Londoner, and supposed to be retired, but I could not resist another Patent Disclosure!
    Prime 11 will arrive soon.....only the Shadow knows!

    Hi

     

    There is no HP Printer HP ELITE 7200. The ELITE 7200 is a Microtower PC.

     7200 Series printers are ENVY INSPIRE Series

     

    Delete your printer and reinstall the correct driver.
