i just need someone to please help me undertand what to do.
like with an example and explain it step by step.
i really dont understand it.

A pyramid consists of a polygonal base and a set of triangular faces. To calculate the surface area you need to calculate the areas of each of those and then add them up. Exactly how you calculate these areas depends very much on exactly what data you are given about the pyramid.
