Question

The XMCD, MCD converter is not working on the Demo version?

Hello,
After many years not using Mathcad, I wanted to load my old datasheet developed in Mathcad 15. I have set up the free version just to have a sense of “Whao.. I like it” but it turns that the converter is not working: no license but I have a license for 30days no?
Please Is there someone to help? I would like to see if the Prime (mathcad12.0) fits my new needs. thanks!
John

You installed Prime 12, I guess. But did you apply for the trial license?

If not, tick the M in the top left corner of the Prime window, then select Options, and on the License tab press the 'Get license’ button. The rest should be obvious.

    Success!

Here’s the converted file, but it’s not going to be very useful as it calls for “include” files which were not present, so not converted.

Thanks a lot Alan. I have progressed with your help.
The last issue is to be able to run the Mathcad worksheet with embedded reference. I have error messages so far.
Hope I can get your support (or anyone else) that would make the template_… working again. Thx!

I’ve had a look at your latest files.

In the useful functions file the routines that didn’t convert contain multiple statements on a single line.  Re-write to put them on different lines.  For example, compare the following:

    Original:

    Prime:

The physical parameters file has converted without any problems.

I can’t do much with the main file as it calls text files that are not available to ,me.
