TOL & CTOL & Guess value error

Hello,

 

i have a problem with mathcad (Mathcad Prime 3.1): No solution was found, try changing the guess value or the value of TOL or CTOL


Can please somebody check it out, and tell me what i need to fix?

Mathcad error messages (especially around solve blocks) have never been particularly helpful.  Try plotting your constraint equations for various guess values to see if you can narrow the field or identify a problem.

    The error is thrown if just a single value in the range phi does not yield a result.

    As you can see there is a range (approx. 4 .. 5.6) of phi values where the solve block fails.

    BTW, I changed the guess values for xD and yD to 0.4m and the results seems to be more consistent:

      I have solved same problems by help not numeric but symbolic math of Mathcad.

      No problems with TOL & CTOL & Guess value - one problem: choose one formula from two possible!
