I cant believe mathcad 15 information is so poor i have to ask this

How do you define an ANGLE!!!

Not degrees C or F or K

I want to define a number like 50 degrees as in the angle 50 degrees!!!

Why is everything in this program so hard when it doesn't have to be

It doesn't have to be. You can use the degree symbol (°) (alt-0176), but I usually just type deg in the units holder.

Once you learn the editor, and the program quirks, Mathcad is easy; it displays math just like you write it.

That is when:

- First you make sure that the numeric keypad of your keyboard is in numeric mode (such that if you press the '4' key, you get a 4, and not the curser going left. There is a NumLock key specifically for this purpose.).

- Then you press and hold down the ALT key (which is to the left of the space-bar on your keyboard).

- Then you press in sequence each of the four keys '0', '1', '7', and '6' on the numeric keypad (you probably do this with your right hand, because your left hand is still holding the ALT key down).

- And finally you let go of the ALT key and watch the screen at the cursor position where this symbol appears: °
