User definition in evaluation, prime 5

Hi,

I am fairly new to Mathcad Prime, but having used 11,13 and 14 previously.

I have defined some new units, but for some reason Prime 5 is unable to use these user defined units in the evaluation result of a calculation.

Am I doing something wrong, or is it simply not possible?

I have tried both with normal definition and global definition of the unit.

You defined mJ=0.001*J.

Note that J shows as a unit (its bold, blue and italic.) Likewise you should make sure to 'label' mJ as a unit as well.

{As it is now, you've just defined a variable mJ, but not a unit mJ.}

Success!

Thanks - just what I needed! Didn't know about this feature.
