Using Mathcad AND Excel for data. Is it possible to generate values without Excel?

Hello All,

I am generating values for DEFORM FEA software to determine a sinusoidal motion.

My current method is to develop the function for my motion in Mathcad, then take the variable value and transplant it into Excel.  From Excel I can copy and paste into my DEFORM table.

I would like grab the values directly from Mathcad.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Don

Two things that would at least simplify what you are doing are:

1.) WRITEEXCEL.  would dump the data into excel right where you want it

2.) Add an Excel component.  Then you could cut/paste easier.

But I don't think you can avoid excel (unless deform accepts txt, csv or prn - which mathcad can also write.

This worked great once I activated the full license.
