xy-plot - how do I get rid of this vertical marker line?

It’s easy to add the vertical line marker - but now I can’t delete it. How is this normally accomplished?

Go into the label and delete the 1.811.

Or press the 'Delete marker’ button in the marker section of the plot ribbon…

I can delete the number 1.811 but that does nothing.

Okay, I found the Delete marker button. the vertical bar has been deleted
