COMException, Ptc.MathcadPrime.Automation.dll v6.0.0.0

Version 6.0.0.0 of the Ptc.MathcadPrime.Automation.dll assembly is resulting in an COMException being thrown, which is preventing the ApplicationCreator object from being constructed. I have had no issues with version 6.0.0.0 assembly before these last few days. I have replicated this condition using the same assembly for version 8.0.0.0, without any errors. What can be done here that does not include upgrading or downgrading the version of Mathcad?

have the same issue with Ptc.MathcadPrime.Automation.

 

I am using Excel VBA to open mathcad file. It was working previously now it is not working
