When i run Mathcad, the says the license i have requested contains an error
Invalid Host.
It returns PTC_HostID=1870:7F0D i ENTERED A "-" NOT an ":" (i ENTERED 1870-7F0D)

thank you for your reply.

As it turns out, The solution to my problem was:

to configure the MCLicense.exe  to run in compatibility Mode "Visa SP3"

This fixed the problem.

My version / License request the "vol C:"  serial # and does not use the network card.

I had updated my SSD, and this caused Mathcad to stop working.

I am running windows 10, and I guess Version  14 M020 runs best in Vista mode.

"Error (-9,57)", quote: "The error “The License file you have requested contains an error, Invalid Host. The host id of this system does not match the host id specified in license file. FLEXnet Licensing Error: -9,57" is received while launching FLEXnet enabled applications like Creo.

The common solutions for this are listed here in the most frequent order": https://www.ptc.com/en/support/creo-admin-troubleshooter/error-code/other-errors/error-9,57
