When i run Mathcad, the says the license i have requested contains an error
Invalid Host.
It returns PTC_HostID=1870:7F0D i ENTERED A "-" NOT an ":" (i ENTERED 1870-7F0D)

thank you for your reply.

As it turns out, The solution to my problem was:

to configure the MCLicense.exe  to run in compatibility Mode "Visa SP3"

This fixed the problem.

My version / License request the "vol C:"  serial # and does not use the network card.

I had updated my SSD, and this caused Mathcad to stop working.

I am running windows 10, and I guess Version  14 M020 runs best in Vista mode.

"Error (-9,57)", quote: "The error โ€œThe License file you have requested contains an error, Invalid Host. The host id of this system does not match the host id specified in license file. FLEXnet Licensing Error: -9,57" is received while launching FLEXnet enabled applications like Creo.

The common solutions for this are listed here in the most frequent order": https://www.ptc.com/en/support/creo-admin-troubleshooter/error-code/other-errors/error-9,57
