No, you looked at the wrong place. You have to look in

C:\ProgramData\PTC\Mathcad Prime

to find the .config file(s), NOT in Program Files.

Note that C:\ProgramData is a hidden directory, but you can navigate there by entering the pathname in Windows Explorer.

One level deeper, in

C:\ProgramData\PTC\Mathcad Prime\Logs

you will find the log files, but they (most probably) will not help you.

Did you remove and then reinstall or just do a reinstall over the first install?

Is the spalsh screen coming up or not even that far?

Check the log files for anything that it may record there about missing files, etc.

I tried both ways reinstalling it fully and on top of the first (Basically deleted the mathcad folder fully and installed it again)

Well, even the splash screen is not coming up

P.s. under which folder are the log files?

I am not a MathCAD user, but I looked in the install folder and didn't see any from the couple of times I have run it.

I would delete the installation folder again and then use Regedit and remove any references to the MathCAD installation folder before doing another install. I do this on my Windchill installs to be sure there is nothing lurking from a prior install. Also look in c:\users\<your_username>\appdata folders for some files that MathCAD may have installed there. Appdata is a hidden folder by default.

Lookin C:\programdata\ptc

And further down.

You'll find log files and a .config file. The .config file you can delete and then retry running prime 10.

(The .config file can become corrupt. Prime will recreate it if it is missing)

Success!

Hello!

I looked through the program files -->PTC--> Mathcad prime 10

And then tried to do the search function for ".config", and there is kinda no file with such a name (only these 3 files)
