Mathcad 15.0 Problem Saving to Network Share

I am using Mathcad Release 15.0 and DatecodeM050

Hello,

We have Mathcad 15 M050 and one of our users would like to save their files to their network share but when opening files from their share and trying to edit them they get a message that it is "read only" and when trying to create a new file and save it they get a message "that the file is in use and to save it using a different name". We came across this post: https://community.ptc.com/t5/Mathcad/MathCAD-File-can-only-be-opened-in-READ-ONLY-from-server/td-p/646022 and they mentioned that it is a known issue for M050. I was wondering if there is any recommendations or suggestions we can give the user.

So it appears to be an issue with Mcad 15 M050. There is no newer Mathcad 15 version than M050 (support for Mathcad 15 ended a couple of years ago). So either your user steps back to M045, or learns to live with the issue.

As Luc already said is Mathcad 15 not available anymore nor supported any longer. So users of MC15 are on their own.

It looks that your user would be forced to manually copy the file from the network share to a local drive and open it from there. After editing he would have to manually copy it back to the share. Admittedly annoying but at least a way that would work and enable them to use the files from the share.
