Mathcad 15 files conversion

I am trying Mathcad Prime for the first time. I have Mathcad 15 files that I would like to open in Prime. Could you tell me if I can do it in the trial version?

Mathcad Prime is not capable to open Mathcad legacy files.

Convert single or multiple Mathcad legacy files in a row to Mathcad Prime file format using the (optional) Converter Tool.

The Converter Tool is always available in the Mathcad Prime installation (as an option), no matter which license (full or trial).

Furthermore, you can download and install the full version of Mathcad Prime and run it even without any license available.

Without any license available the Mathcad Prime main program will run in the so called Express Mode.

The Converter tool once optionally installed is still available in the user interface (as well as standalone) even if the Express Mode lacks some advanced functionality:

Note: The Converter tool shipped with the appropriate Mathcad Prime main program is optional and must be enabled in the installation manually. It is made to ease the conversion from legacy Mathcad to Mathcad Prime. However, since Mathcad Prime is based on a different product specification, the capabilities of the products are not equal. After conversion, the impacted regions of the target worksheet will be highlighted to get reviewed by the user whether it is necessary and possible to get manually reworked.

How much I would like your statements to be true, as they suggest/imply that it is possible to convert legacy Mathcad files with (just) an Express Prime.

It actually does not work that way, certainly not for the current version of Prime (11).

Yes, if you download the (trial version of) Prime 11 and tick the option to install the converter, the converter icon will show up in the ribbon, not faded but in bright colour:

And you can run it, but when you try to convert a legacy Mathcad file, the converter will show:

Additionally note that you are showing a screenshot of Prime 6, which is no longer supported by PTC and (if I'm not mistaken) which required a co-installed licensed version of Mathcad 15 for conversion of legacy Mathcad files.
