Mathcad doesnt open

I installed Mathcad prime 8 to use on a free trial. I try to open it, and the plash screen comes out with the logo, but it stays like that and the program doesnt actually open. Also the same happens to the prime 7 version

It stil doesnt work. Also, Prime 5.0.0.0 is working fine so i dont really understand the issue

Please share Windows OS you are currently using.

I hope you have already tried fixing the bug with KB4055002 by installing the fix from the Microsoft catalog here. If this has not helped, then check which version of .NET Framework is present on your machine. If required, download and install Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7.2 from here.
