Mathcad Prime 12 - missing worksheetresources.xaml / app not starting

Hello,

I am trying to install PTC Mathcad Prime 12 trial, but the application does not start.

After installation, nothing happens when I launch it. In Event Viewer I get the following error:

System.Windows.Markup.XamlParseException:
Cannot locate resource "worksheetresources.xaml"

I have already tried:

  • reinstalling multiple times (clean uninstall + removing all PTC folders)
  • installing .NET Desktop Runtime 8
  • installing WebView2
  • disabling antivirus
  • using a different network (hotspot)

The installer I used is "pim_installmgr_mathcad".

It looks like the installer does not download all required files.

Could someone provide a full offline installer or suggest a fix?

What is your Windows system language set to?
If it’s not one of Mathcad’s 10 supported languages, you’ll need to change it to one of those. This is explained here: 

 and on the trial form’s language support table.

Hello,

I changed the system language to English and now Mathcad starts correctly.

 

I am trying to activate the Mathcad Prime 12 trial, but I receive the following error:

"You have reached the maximum number of license requests available for your product type."

Previously, I encountered server errors during activation, which likely caused multiple failed attempts.

Could you please reset my trial activation limit or assign a trial license to my account?
