Mathcad Prime 8.0 supports dongle licensing or not

Dears

I've noticed that most of the licenses from our clients are tied to dongles.

Mathcad Prime 7.0 can be installed, but 8.0 cannot.

The licensing has been upgraded to 8.0,

so is it because the license is tied to the dongle that I can't perform the installation?

Or do I need to install additional software like C++ 2005?

I have read through the installation documentation, but it does not explicitly mention whether the license can be tied to a dongle, or perhaps I overlooked that information.

Please help clarify this for me. Thank you.
