Rasterized Text When Using Areas and Printing to PDF in Mathcad Prime

I am using Mathcad Prime Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.0.0

Issue occurs using Mathcad Prime v9.0 and printing a file to PDF using either Adobe PDF or Bluebeam PDF.

When PDF-ing Mathcad Prime files that use "Areas," which are collapsible containers for portions of the file, the contents of the Area are printed as raster images instead of text. This is problematic for several reasons:

1. Rasterized text is not word-searchable or selectable
2. File size balloons considerably compared to text
3. The PDF takes much longer to print since the text must be converted to raster by the PDF distiller.

Is there a workaround or has this issue been addressed in newer releases of Mathcad Prime?

This issue also appears in Prime 11, when printing to a .pdf-'printer'.

Instead of printing to a pdf, try 'saving as' a .PDF from within Prime.

    Success!
