Trouble Opening Mathcad

I downloaded the trial version, but when I go to open the file it does not work, the loading screen will come up for a couple of seconds, then just disapear.

As a first step

Check the system requirements?

System Requirements
• 64–bit Windows 10 machine.
• 2 GB of hard disk space (600 MB for PTC Mathcad, 1.5 GB temporary space during installation)
• Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7.2

Hi @BH_10013871,

 

Try to rename the folder PTC to old_PTC in the location "C:\Users\%username%\Appdata\Local" and then launch Mathcad prime

nothing, that is a system variable and is set to your login username by the OS.

It will take you to the right location with a cut and paste of the text between the quotation marks.

 

In a command prompt, you can use:

cd C:\Users\%username%\Appdata\Local
