Have just paid for a licence to upgrade from MathCad Prime Express 12.0.0.0 to the full Prime version, hopefully 12.0.0.1. Following "Options|Get Licence" I have encountered a prompt asking for my product code. Where can I find this? Do I need to log in to the Fullfillment portal? Does it use the same general ptc account? It didn't recognise mine. When looking for help I am told I don't have access permission and haven't paid for that level of support. Elsewhere it says I have "Gold" level support. I an angry that you have now pointed me to a public forum where I can't post useful identification data. What a horrible mess. Can anyone help me get into contact with someone at PTC?

Stumbled across a link to this site.

There is a pdf to download and it directed me to https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS446141
The non-intuitive bit is that you have to assign the PC on which you run MathCad as a “licencing host”. Then you can generate a licence, which can be downloaded. It arrives as a zip file containing the licence(s) and a spreadsheet summary of what you have acquired.
I must now wait until Monday to see if this works. I am still not confident that I can introduce MathCad and its licence to one another. I think I read that a product code would be included in the licence pack, Haven’t found it yet.
The process is broken in that MathCad offers a simple to use dialogue which asks for unobtainable information. Why does the “activate” dialogue not just do all this stuff for you?
I think for single users it is over-complicated by all the built-in support for multi-seat users.
