Version 8 wont install

Hello,

 

trying to install version Mathcad 8.0 but if double klick the setup.exe file it shows that something is loading, but at the end nothing happens. Then tried to install from the .msi file, it downloads some tools but at the end it doesn't work either. Funny things is that the Mathcad 7.0 Version Installation works.

So whats the problem? idk

Try the following steps:

 

  • First run "pim_installmgr_mathcad.exe"
  • go  (Windows 10) "C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Roaming\PTC Download\MED-XXX-XX-XXX_X-X-X-X\ptcsh0\",
  • run "PrimeWixInstaller_64bit.msi" installation file.
