Basics of Building Block

Hello,

I would like to create a building block just like production Dashboard in DPM. For this I have created a building block using Solution Framework and imported PTC base and Production Dashboard but not able to view it, Am I missing any steps. I want to make a custom mashup which UI will be slightly different but functionalities will be same as DPM production Dashboard.
