Different Customized Availability Calculations for Asset & Line

From my understanding, once we OVERRIDDEN the CustomizedAvailabilityCalculation services, the default Status Expression cannot be used anymore? So if I want is to have different customized Availability calculations for Line and Asset, is it possible? or can we just make the Line 's Status Expression works even the CustomizedAvailabilityCalculation services is overriden?

While I haven't tried this myself, my understanding is the customized availability calculation service should leave the status expressions untouched - it should only affect the availability calculation.  If you give it a shot and this isn't the case, please let me know ASAP.
