Shift Configuration in Mfg Apps

Hi All,

I am using Thingworx Mfg Apps 8.4.0. I see the Shift Start Time and Shift Duration as asset properties which are configured via  Planned Operation time Start and Duration in Configuration and setup tile. I wanted to understand how this works. Whether this implies that I can have only one shift in a day. If not how can i configure for multiple shifts. Also is there any mechanism to configure the break timings in a shift?

Please provide your inputs.

Check out this help centre page about setting up shifts and schedules for KPI calculations.

I do not believe that there is presently support for breaks.

hi,

Thanks for your response.

Can we do shift configuration in 8.4 or is it available in 8.5 onwards?

One more question,

I see the status timeline for Asset in Asset Advisor Mashup. Can you please let me know where are we storing the data for Asset Status. I know that we are defining the machine status as an expression in Configure and Setup Mashup. Please let me know if any document available from which i can get to know more about how asset status data are stored and retrieved?
