any ideas how to save a workplane profile directly to dxf?

if you want to save the contour you have drawn on a workplane directly to a dxf file, is this possible?

I believe your only option is to save it to a .mi file and then use Annotation or Direct Drafting to convert to .dxf.

You may project the workplane into Annotation without any frame as a front view and then save the sheet as DXF file.

thanks for your reactions. both steps require an additional step to make this dxf in Annotation or Drafting.
