Creo Direct Direct Modeling Express upgrade to latest version

Can anyone tell me how to upgrade my Creo Elements Direct Modeling Express? I had been running the free version on a laptop that I replaced and when I loaded Express on the new laptop I got version 8.0. The old laptop has 6.0. I occasionally run the old laptop in my shop to check a model and can't share a model between them due to the difference in versions.

    Just to understand your problem: can't you load version 8.0 on your old laptop ?

    My question is does the program ever update on it's own, or if not how do I manually update it to the newer version. I want to get both machines up to version 8.

    It does not update automatically.

    You have to download and install another version manually.
