Creo element direct modelling _Dimension properties

Hi,

 

I would like to clear my doubt about the text frame option available in dimension properties.

 

I would like to know whether the balloon frame which is shown as a closed circular frame is used for the reference dimensions in creo element direct modelling because in standard practice the frame for the reference dimension is of open circular brackets.

Hi,
Need an urgent reply.. supplier has used balloon bracket and he is considering it as a basic dimension. For basic dimension square bracket is used.

The square bracket is the proper Basic dimension for GD&T.  This is the international standard.

    Hi,

    Thanks sir... So the balloon bracket option available in dimension property is used for the reference dimension instead of the parentheses which used around the dimensions.
