Extension for function parallel auxiliary line

If I create a parallel auxiliary line, I can select the line in Modeling and move it with the mouse. Then I see exactly the unit of measure dynamically. I can enter an exact measure and press Enter at the same time.The line is created. When I click on the button to create parallel auxiliary line in Drafting, I also see the measure dynamically, but I have to leave the command if I want to enter an exact measure. Double work. Could it possibly do the same as in Modeling?
