Select with cursor unavaliable PTC Creo Elements/Direct Modeling 20.5.2.0

Hello,

I'm having a problem with PTC Creo Elements/Direct Modeling 20.5.2.0 : Sometimes I loose the little "cross" next to the cursor resulting in me unable to select anything (see attached files). I tried to close the viewport but nothing changed. The only way to get the cross back is to restart Creo. 

I can't find a way to reproduce consistantly the problem. I get this issue 1-2 per week. 

I hope someone can help me.

I had such behaviour or similar after changing 3D viewport parallel / perspective.

But a restart was also necessary.
