WOW! The last Friday in July. Enjoy the weekend, the vacation, or the holiday! Create some memories....     An engineer dies and is met at the Pearly Gates by St Peter. St Peter asks the engineer his name as he searches for it in the big Book of Life.   St Peter looks up and states, “There’s been a mistake, you’re not due here for another 50 years!” The engineer is distraught and asks what can be done.   St Peter replies, “No problem, this happens more often than you think. Follow me.”   So they walk through the gates and to a room with several bins in it. This is the body parts room. St Peter takes the engineer to the legs bins and states, “We have all kinds of legs to choose from, but relative to all the good you have done in life so far, you only get $500 worth to play with.” The engineer sees this as the usual ‘get the most for the least’ cost exercise so decides to pick carefully and asks, “how much are super strong legs?”   “$10 each” replies St Pete

There was no post last weekend as I was "up north", which is a thing in Michigan. The James R Barker - 1000 foot long carrying ore to the mills at the southern end of Lake Michigan.    

Went fishing with the buddies yesterday. Started out of the harbor at 6:30am, immediately came across this little gator (about 3 feet long). He was minding his own business when we made a pass around him. This was in the intercoastal waterway, saltwater, Matagorda Harbor Texas.    

Hi, so I told @Dale_Rosema in last weekender post that I would share photos from chaperoning my daugher's senior homeschool semi-formal / formal "Red Carpet" event.  With so many great movies releasing right now (i.e. Jurassic World Dominion and Top Gun: Maverick) our Jurassic Jeep was an instant photo opportunity. We had a movie theme. (Yes, I got my hubby in a tie and suit jacket).   The jeep was provided by  Bill Shea, (www.88mphtimemachine.com) great supporter of Michael J Fox Parkinson's research.       Below are a few of the fun decorations we had to compliment our movie themed "photo booth" area.
