Creo Illustrate views

When we opening an EDZ (exported from Creo) file in Creo View we see the views that engineering has created in the orientation menu.

When opening the same EDZ file in Creo Illustrate those view are not present in the in the orientation menu.

Is this a bug? Feature? Or am I missing something?

I'm not sure this is a feature or a bug. Certainly it is what we experience also. Similarly if you export the annotation sets, in Creo View you'll see groups for each Simplified Rep. In Creo Illustrate you won't. Oddly however the explode states appear to be selectable at the Illustrate level.

It would be very nice to have some of these productivity enhancements get into the tool. I have mentioned the above case in an enhancement request

Creo Illustrate 3.0 now allows you to re-use Views and Alternate Rep's from the source data.
