creo view 4.1

When I try to open a PDF file in Creo View 4.1 I just see a white screen with the title of the PDF file nothing else. I have Adobe Acrobat installed on my machine.  Everyone else with Adobe Reader can open the PDF in Creo View 4.1. I do have the option "Display PDF in a browser" checked in my Adobe preferences. I can open other files in Creo View just not PDF files.
