Creo View Markup needs to include engineering symbols

It is very hard to get interest in the markup in Creo Veiw when it is much easier to draw on a printed paper the Engineering systems needed.  For example surface finish, Weld Symbols, Diameter Symbol... etc and so on.  It is 2022... this is a bit embarrassing to try to get the business to adopt markup when the tool is half way designed.

    We understand this as customer pain point. This needs a major Product Improvement in Creo View to support such capability. I would recommend creating Product Idea at Creo View / Illustrate / Schematics Ideas - PTC Community with below details.

     

    1. Describe your environment: What is your industry? What is your role in your organization? Describe your stakeholders.

    2. What version of Windchill are you currently running?

    3. Describe the problem you are trying to solve. Please include detailed documentation such as screenshots, images or video.

    4. What is the use case for your organization?

    5. What business value would your suggestion represent for your organization?

     

    This will help PTC Product Management to track your requirements as well allow other users to vote/comment their perspective on similar set of requirements.

    I just submitted it as a Community Idea.  Creo View Needs More Symbols for Mark-ups - PTC Community

    Thank you.  I push very hard to get the entire business to utilize this powerful application but the short comings makes it very difficult.
