Hardware requirements for running PTC Creo Illustrate with large assemblies

I am trying to run PTC Creo Illustrate on large assemblies with more than 30,000 parts in the BOM and although I can open the assembly, I can barely do anything with it. But I have a laptop that is not very powerful, so I assume that I can improve performance by using more powerful hardware. Can anyone tell my what sort of PC/workstation is optimal for running Creo? What will affect performance:

- Multiple processor cores or a single high-performance processing core?

- Large amount of RAM (how much)

- High performance graphics card (recommendations - what type?)

Many thanks for any advice.

Marc Honoré
