How do I find the Smart Select option in Creo Illustrate?

Can you elaborate a little further on what you are looking for?

Are you asking about the Selection Filter, similar to what is found in the bottom right corner of the Creo Parametric window:

If so, then this can be found in the Creo Illustrate window also, in the same location, with the only difference is that it has a scroll wheel to access additional features:
