IsoDraw image transparency problem

I am working with TIF files and I need to turn image transparency on. I have created a macro that does this and it seems to work fine. My problem is when I save/export the file out with the transparency on everything appears fine. When I open the file again the transparency is turned off. I have tried not using the macro and manually changing the image transparency to on and then save/export the file with the same result, when I open the file again the transparency is off.

Does anyone know what might be causing this and how I can fix the problem?

I am using IsoDraw 7.1 F000
