Hi Folks,

I have few question related to Creo schematics as below.

1. How to restrict the terminal connections? is it automated or manual?

2. How to show the component label in 2Dschematics & 3Dcabling?

3. Real time mass of Harness?

4. Do we get the branded or industry standard catalogues like wise TE connectivity with 4 connection ports?

5. How to we customize of create our own catalogue in schematics?

It would be really helpful to get the answers for the above questions with specific examples if possible.

TIA

Naresh

Hi NJ_10652808,

Short answer; Manual process depending on how you set it up. Datasets can be created and applied which then restricts based on the dataset. Caveat is that it locks the library file so you are required to remove the dataset if you need to edit it (using a lock design file). The help that comes with Schematics has several good examples. Not sure. Can be in a dataset added to the component(s). We had to build our own- a sort of long process. In the help on schematics gives some examples for creating the library shapes. There are some videos online that shows some details as well.
