Viewing combined states in Creo View Express

According to PTCs document comparing the different versions of Creo View, in Creo View Express you should be able to "Display Combination or View States from Creo Parametric" but I cannot figure out how to view them once in Creo View. Any suggestions on how you would do this would be appreciated.

    Go to:
    "your drive":\PTC\Creo 2.0\Common Files\M120\text\prodview

    Open export_pvs.rcp with notepad and change adapter/outputAuthorState=1.

    Save your file as .pvz and open it in Creo View.
