Where's my Decal?

Tried placing Decals on models...they must be invisible?  Went thru the prompts, searched in the HELP section, did the Mapping Shape and wore my tin-foil hat for a bit...???!!!

 

It's on a flat surface and the model is brought in as a STEP file?

 

Screenshots show the application of the decal...invisible.

    Without seeing the data it is very hard to say what is causing this.

    I would recommend logging  case with tech support so it can be properly investigated.
