Can not create an assembly with the Creo 2.0 Student Edition?

Hi, I am new to using the creo 2.0 student edition and can not create an assembly. when I create a New Assembly and save the assembly the screen does not change to the assembly tool bar? Do I need the Parametric Program, if so How do I also get that edition?

    When you installed PTC Creo, if you accepted the defaults, you should have several PTC Applictions in the Start menu and on the desktop. These should include:

    • Creo Parametric
    • Creo Direct

    And others depending on the license you have.

    It sounds like you started PTC Creo Direct when you are looking for PTC Creo Parametric menus.
