Cannot enter the licensing key- Creo 3.0 student edition

After downloading Creo 3.0 student edition and trying to 'setup licence' I cant type in the licensing key as the type box is greyed out. When I try to go through the 'schools setup' option after I enter my my PTC username/ password the download manager becomes unresponsive.

how can I resolve this?
