Creo 3.0 University Student Standard Edition – Re-Licensing Issue

Greetings community,

after a year of university my license has expired and I'm having trouble renewing it.

I tried the guide listed above and the installation of the license succeeded, however, it tells me the license or its format is invalid (roughly translated from German).

I hope someone has a fix for this.
