Creo Student Edition & Exercise File

I am working with Creo 7 for a course at school. 

I bought the Creo Parametric 7.0 Tutorial book and downloaded the software, and the exercise files that go with it, though when I go to open the exercise files I get an error saying the file was created with a commercial verson and is not compatible with Creo student. 
How do I resolve this.
