CREO - Trial edition accidentally used and can't switch to Academic

Hi, 

I've been using creo parametric 12.4.0.0 thinking that I was using the academic edition which I have a node locked license to use. I didn't enter this license when I first downloaded CREO and tried to use it to install CREO again in the academic version. This hasn't resulted in the academic version downloading but instead the error message that my code no longer works. How do I access my academic version? My error is I have reached the maximum number of license requests for my product, this appears anytime I try to enter my license. Please help.
