I have a student version for 1 year license expired seems impossible to renew

I am getting a -10 error feature/license expired. I'm following their renewal process and it's just not working.  Cannot really find a legitimate way to contact them for help the site is not helpful and very circular.  Simply trying to renew my student license.  When the software loads there is a PTC License Renewal prompt, then when I enter my info (100% it's correct info), it just tells me 'Customer not verified'

Thanks,

-Steve

Hi,

The education license renewal is not managed thru that service, as the EDU users have basic accounts. That works only for customers that purchase the software and get a SCN.

Please use this guide to renew your Creo 8.0 student license:

https://apps.ptc.com/schools/references/relicense_creo8_unistudent_standard.pdf

Thanks,

Alex

Hi,

Usually you can use following procedure:

  • remove current license file from C:\ProgramData\PTC\Licensing directory
  • run reconfigure.exe and enter Product code used during former installation
