Install Creo on standalone computer

I have been using Creo Academic versions since they were released. Before that ProEngineer since it replaced ProDesktop.

Due to network restrictions at my academy all our CNC equipment has been moved to a 'stand alone' computer set up that has no internet connection.

With ProEngineer a stand alone license file request could be generated and the software installed with an emailed node locked license file.

This does not seem to be possible with Creo or at least I have not been able to find out how to carry out such an install.

Does anyone know the method of installing Creo - in this case Creo 3 due to the age of the computer running the CNC set up - on a non internet connected stand alone computer?

Hi,

you can request license file via email. Please read https://community.ptc.com/t5/PTC-Education-Forum/Creo-Parametric-9-0-Student-Edition-Licence-error/m-p/897846 discussion.
